I know itīs not allowed to apply a restraint and displacements in the same node. I have a line with many anchor. I need to analyse this model with and without displacements.
For example, suppose that node 10 is a anchor. Firt I need to analyse a condition without displacements. Only restraint is enough.
But this node can be dislocated, so I have to apply displacement and not use anchor.
My doubt is: I need two models to run these two conditions? How could I consider both in one model?
I tryed to input a vector where all coordinates is zero (this is a anchor). But in this case, the vector (D) doesnīt appear on "Load Case Editor".

Best Regards.

Use a CNODE on the ANCHOR and input the disp using the CNODE number for the node. The manual probably describes this technique.

Actually you don't even need the CNODE. Simply model the displacements (all six degrees of freedom specified) you want at that node.

For load cases where you don't want to include the displacements, leave "D1" out of the load case and CAESAR II will treat that node as an anchor. When you do want to consider displacements, include "D1" in the load case.

For example:
Node 10: DX=0, DY=0.5, DZ=0, RX=0, RY=0, RZ=0 (you need the zeros otherwise those DOFs are free)

Then:
for (W+T1+P1), node 10 will see: DX=0, DY=0, DZ=0, RX=0, RY=0, RZ=0
for (W+T1+P1+D1) node 10 will see: DX=0, DY=0.5, DZ=0, RX=0, RY=0, RZ=0
