Good day all.
It's being quite a while since I sent a post.
We have this Analysis work which involves ASTM A182 F22 Claded internally with Inconel 625. When carrying out Analysis (Wall thickness Calculations & Pipe Stress Analysis), which of the of the Materials' properties should we use; that of F22, Inconel 625, or a sort of derived Composite of both (am not sure I've asked this question before)?

Regards

Cladding thickness should not be used for pressure thickness calculation. Its thickness can be used for generating the system stiffness matrix as it is conservative.Properties of the base metal should be used in the calculation.Cladding can result in thermal stresses due to differential expansion. The last analysis is complex and will require properties of the alcd material also.
