For dxf file: Just create your model in pvelite after that go to export to dxf file tab & do the settings according to your requirement like bom, nozzle schedule, drawing dimension. Then, set the scale factor(automatically computed by pvelite).Make it ok.

Now do the analysis. You will get message dxf file sucessfully created. Now open your autocad & from there open the directory where you have saved your file.Change the extension from .dwg to .dxf.You will get your dxf file. Now you are ready to open it.

These files created in same folder where you are saving your pvelite(.pvi) files.

Once you have to run analysis then only you can see the dxf file in autocad.

Here is a tip open the dxf file from within PVElite.

Once you have created the dxf file as "Rahul SRK" pointed, then in PVElite a blue AutoCAD icon lights up (on same menu as the Analyze icon). Press this blue AutoCAD icon to launch the dxf file just created.

Speacking about dxf file creation, I have a problem in generating bom, nozzle schedule, design data.
They don't appear in my dxf (all layers are turned on): I'm using PvElite 2009, it used to work in 2008.
Does anybody have the same problem?

Ciao!

fedeghi,

The nozzle schedule and bom appears in separate dxf files. They are located in the same directory as the main dxf file.

I would like to mention that this is very rudimentary. At this time (Feb, 2009) We are in process of developing more advanced fabrication drawing generation package. You can sign up for the beta version of that package,

http://www.coade.com/cadworx/fabricator/

After the beta period ends you should be able to purchase the CADWorx Fabricator package. It will have advanced drawing generation, bom, nozzle schedule and more.

Thanks for the explanation, I knew that BOM and nozzle tables were stored in separate dxf files (it worked that way in PvElite 2008).
What I wanted to point out is that, with PvElite 2009, I'm not getting the BOM and nozzle dxf files... only the main siloutte file is created.

I will take a look at Fabricator, thank you
