Hi all,

I have a trouble with the uniform loads. I enter an uniform load in in G´s for a system of buried pipes. When I studies the effect of that load individually (L4):

W+P1+T1 (OPE)
W+P1 (SUS)
W+P1+T1+U1 (OCC)
L3-L1 (OCC)
L1-L2 (EXP)

In the stress report show that doesn´t exist effects independently of the value of the load, i mean the stress generated are null (zero).
Something is missing???

Many thanks and regards!

That is a little surprising, send your job in to techsupport@coade.com and we'll take a look at it.

Buried pipe? Did you use the CAESAR II Buried Pipe Modeler? If so, did you notice that all densities were zeroed? That would explain the zero G load.

What sort of inertial response were you expecting from buried pipe?
