Hi, guys, i am now doing a 28" heat exchanger about 4000kg with a bundle about 3 m, i set the hydrostatic test according to ASME UG99 (b) in pvelite, and then I run the case and find the report for the Horizontal Vessel Analysis (test)that the hydrostatic test pressure at top of vessel is 0 Mpa, and all the stress value is maller than the one in operating case, anyone know how to do the analysis for the saddle in hydrostatic testing case with the hydrotest pressure?

Besides, I saw some of the design cases done by other company, only stresses in the operating cases were calculated. Is it true that in common case the stress in the testing case smaller than the stress in the operating case?

Thanks.
