Wish you all very happy new year. I am analysing a 36" HFO header in a tank firm ( approx. 400m on sleeper and brachesof same size connected to 4nos. tanks). For seismic g'loads I am using snubbers assuming stiffness as 1,00,000 N/cm. Load on the snubbers are around 34000 Kg.
Could you guide what should be the stiffness of hydaulic snubber in this case.
