Since Mr. Peng only completed his latest book 'Pipe Stress Engineering' a couple of years ago and it sells in excess of $100, he might be a bit miffed if it were available to freely download.

There is that tricky little thing called copyright, which can result in expensive legal action.

so does that mean some body will take legal action against me? coz i shared the link above. Sorry Moverz, but what was the action taken against you coz you already said (indirectly )you have provided " book by - Spielvogel " to 8k+ people. i know this is a copyright, that is why i have also provided my e-id so that who is having book by Peng can send me on my e-id.

actually i need that book desperately if anybody is having it plzz do send me on above E-Id . Now with yahoo's " Drop.io " application one can send n receive file upto 100 MB in size. plzz help.

(Free) electronic distribution of books currently being published and available for sale is a violation of Copyright Laws - otherwise known as "theft". This is different from distributing an out-of-print copy of something 40 years old (although I'm sure many lawyers would disagree with me on this).

I'm closing this thread and I will delete any future posts requesting "free copies" of books.
