Hi,

I need to design one SUPPORT not RIGID but HAVING SPRING.

Can I do it by using Hanger design and just putting -ve value in available space field?

I understand that the hanger design report gives a fig.no and size based on the supplier selelcted. But then this comes same for the hanger and spring can. What this "size" signifies. I dont hv supplier catalogue with me at this moment to verity.

Lisega is the supplier.

Will anyone please guide me as i m still on the learning curve.

Thanks in advance.

Actually all you have to do is specify the hanger node and CAESAR II will design a spring hanger. If you put a negative number in the available space field CAESAR II will design a spring can (under the pipe).

The "size" is the size of the spring, moving horizontally across the spring table in the catalog.

It looks like the Lisega catalog is available
at

http://www.lisega.co.uk/download/dlcatalo.htm

Note there is a link to descriptions as well
as the zip file.
