I am in bit Dilemma regarding the Support in Ceasar.
Assume i am placing a axial support in pipe line.
For Support modelling i am using single clamp and below that on plate i am using two plate to stop pipe in axial.

Now client's request is that i should consider the effect of Moment coming at this point in analysis because of single clamp.
Now Should i check the caesar analysis,
How much it will impact the analysis & how i sud properly simulate the
effect of single clamp type of support.

Hi Adi
I am not sure what your client exactly want.
Are you working with very large bore pipe. Commonly we put support at centerline of pipe in caesar. If pipe size is big in that case model pipe centerline to BOP with zero rigid body & put there Rest +Axial stop support. This will give more realistic model for large diameter pipe. If some nozzle is there close to this axial stop support then moment at nozzle significantly change because of this new model.
