Hi there;
I have a question and I hope you can help me.
I would like to know that for stress analysis of GRP piping, GRP/PVC piping and GRP/PP piping which standard should be consider as a reference.
My GRP piping reference is DIN 16965 and DIN 16966.

At the moment, there are only two published standards for GRP pipe (that I know of). Both of these are UK standards:

- UKOOA
- BS 7159

Both are addressed by CAESAR II.

Hi

A more recent code is EN ISO 14692 Petroleum and natural gas industries - GRP piping (there's four parts to it). This code is based on UKOOA, and aims to "unify approaches to design, manufacture, installation, etc of GRP piping systems" (it's also very similar to BS7159).

In CII we still select "UKOOA" as the design code.

Rgds,
