the operating temp 700 deg F

SLIDE VALVE installed between reactor riser pipe to regenerator stand pipe, the slide valve operated extension needs to HANGER support , the reason is length of extension is 1.8 meters ( no need to support the valve, it is already consider and system runing smoothly), as per slide valve manufacture need to support the extension assenbly.

this job is to install spring hanger for slide valve extension. please advise how to carried out analysis.
Do i need to model entire system inclding regenator (25 m height)& reactor (40m height?

please advise me

Why model any of the system ? What you have is a common arrangement in an FCC unit.

Explain the valve layout to the vendor and get the correct actuator support load from there. Look at the fixed points, bellows etc and work out the thermal movement of the valve. Then fit a spring (maybe a constant) to support the actuator.

I have to agree with M/Z. If you know the travel and you know the load you have to carry, you can pick the hanger without CAESAR II. Keep an eye on load variation.

If you want to crank the program, you need only model enough so that CAESAR II has the proper travel and load.
