Hi,

I am sure the answer I am seeking is covered in technical documentation somewhere/ discussed in the forum before. Had a quick search but hoping somebody will be able to tell me quickly.

While running a WRC 107 analysis for nozzles in Caesar II, what is exact definition of the loads that should be entered under "Expansion" and "Occassional" columns - I mean, say under "Occassional" is it sustained + occassional or only pure occassinal loads. SImilarly, is "Expansion" meant to be sustained + thermal or purely thermal expansion loads.

thanks in advance,

Sanjay

My understaning is that pure occasional and thermal expansion should be entered. Then the program will aotomatically combine the loads with Sustained to check agianst the allowables stress.
