what u mean by blast load?
how i give it as extrenal pressure in caesar 5.1?

Blast load is the external force applied to piping by an explosion nearby. You can apply it to a Caesar II piping model as a uniform load, usually in the horizontal, or as a wind load.

Blast ?

Blast case is to avoid that loose parts become missiles, and to avoid a major fire escalation. The pipe should be in place where it is even during explosion.


IF you know the blast pressure you can apply that in the wind field and make it as occasional case

how we considere blast load....... in which elevation we mention for wind case?

For wind, it is horizontal most of the time.
For blast, I think it can also be vertical.

Can anyone comment on this?
