Hello all,

Perhaps this post is not suitable for this forum, but maybe somebody could help us,

We are trying to run the PSI (Pipe stress interface) from AVEVA PDMS to import / export models to Caesar II and deflected shapes to PDMS.

It works but we find some problems:

- How to tell PDMS the restraint type and stiffness. It considers all of them as an ANC.
- How to change the coordinates orientation.
- The output file to export to PDMS, containing the deflected shape for each load case gets corrupted in the exporting process. It shows error on each load case.

Has somebody ever used this interface?

Thank you very much for any suggestion.

For details on how to manipulate PDMS, you really need to ask AVEVA.

With regard to changing the coordinate system, on the CAESAR II side there is an option in the input (on the Special Execution Options dialog) to switch the vertical axis between Y and Z..
