For CSA Z662 pipeline, is the code stress calculated from equation

Se = sqrt (Sb^2+ 4St^2) for expansion case?

Thank you Richard.

I checked the Quick Reference Guide. I found that in operating case for pipeline fully above ground, the code stress is calculated as:

|Slp + Fax/A| + Sb + Sh

How is Slp calculated?

Slp = PDi^2 / (Do^2 - Di^2)
