Hi,
In my problem, when i view the results in sustained condition in 3D plot, i am seeing 3 or 4 pipes distorting too much but when i see the displacement values,it is very small.If i see the same result in display graphical plot it is not showing distortion.
Can u suggest the reason for this problem.

Please advise what version and what build of the software you are using. The current version /build is 4.50 / 040810. Earlier issues had occasional "numerical tolerance" problems at elbows which could cause the behavior you describe.

If you have Version 4.50, and you don't have the 040810 build:

a) Download this update from this website and see if the problem persists.

b) Use the "\help\on-line registration" option to register your software. We use this information to notify users when a new build is available.

and build no is C2_450_040311

Download the update and see if the problem persists. If it does, e-mail me (ray@coade.com) the job with instructions on reproducing the problem.
