I found that the thicknesses indicated at the bottom of the main window for the external pressure case is not maximum required thickness between sections and stiffners, it indicates only the upper thickness as required.

E.g. I found the case as below. (Case bottom cone (10-20) then shell (20-30) and head (30-40) assembly. Stiffner provided on shell nearer to cone junction(not for cone calculations for external pressure). (total 3 stiffners used on shell)

main window indicating the thickness of 7.26 mm required for 20-30 element. But when I looked in details cal of external pressure 20-stiffner ring 1 required thk is indicated as 7.79 mm which is nnot reflected on main window.

How ever the indicated thk of 7.26 is between stiffner ring 1 to 30 section.

Dear Vishal,

When stiffeners are present, then the section between the stiffeners has to be checked. We try to display the worst case on the screen.
