Hello Dear Piping Collegues,

The Option of a "Bend Axial Shape" is given in the configuration, which makes a bend less stiffer when set. The Caesar help gives only a short explanation for the mechanical cause.
I tried 4 test files, one with a displacement, one with a force at the bend end node, each of them one time with the "Bend Axial Shape" set, one time not.
I was surprised, that I got the exact same displacements for the Force-Loaded files, but different Restraints for the Displacement-Loaded Files.
How can that be, or in which way gets the stiffness with this option changed ?
I would be very pleased, if someone could help me for a better understanding.
