I have found that WRC 107 does not give proper results for D/d ratio below 2 or above 20. Is there any other method by which nozzles can be checked ?

When you fall outside the scope of the WRC-107/297 bulletins, your best bet is a finite element analysis. For nozzles and other piping components, you should check the capabilities of FE/Pipe from Pauln Research Group. Their web site is located at http://www.paulin.com/ .
