I've created a model to B31.4 and am finding that the results for the sustained stress don't add up.
It seems to me that for the code stress to be calculated CEASAR is doing the following.

Axial stress + (Bending stress/SIF(in plane)) = Code stress.

Which is different to what the Version 5.00 CEASAR II Quick reference Guide says: (Slp+Sb+Fax/A)(1.0-FAC), in my case FAC=0

Can anyone please explain what is going on???
