Hi all,
I am facing troubles using "max combination method" in load case definition.
In the results i have, the max load case gives results that are different from those appearing in the equations i selected previously.
As my english is far from correct, i'll give you an example:

i defined L49=L4,L15,L16,L17,L18 (OPE) using max comb method.

here is an extract of the restraint summary report:
4(OPE) 3512 -11049 1441
15(OPE) 3385 -11189 -171
16(OPE) 3407 -10894 1329
17(OPE) 3165 -10216 729
18(OPE) 3604 -11829 404
49(OPE) 3815 -12061 1441

i don't understand why X and Y values in Case 49 are such values !
Z value seems correct.
Most of my other max cases give logical results, not this one.
Could anyone help me ? Thanks

Do not try to summarize "Summary Reports - it won't work.

The restraint summary sums all the loads for each DOF at a particular node (you could have several if there are several restraints at the node). The resulting sum is what you see in the restraint summary report.

If you perform a Max of several load cases, and then ask for a restraint summary, your summing the maximums across more than one load case, so you could end up with a larger, ficticious maximum.

If you want a Max Summary Restraint Report, then use your case 49 (as above), but request the standard Restraint Report, not the Restraint Summary.
