I've created a material that is not available in the Caesar II database. This ran fine using the computer I work on. A colleague of mine on a different computer opened the same model and the material was not available in the database.

Are new materials specific to the 'creator' or should they be available to anyone who works on the same model, regardless of what computer they work from?

If you add (or modify) materials to the Database, they are stored in a separate "user" data file. This file is \caesar\system\umat1.bin.

Copy this file to the other machine and your changes should be available.
