Hi,

When I'm generating stress-iso form Caesar II the Isogen has split whole pipline-system into few parts of stress-iso drawings. And it's ok. But problem is when pipeline-system is long/developed (number of output drawings is grater then 4). Then Isogen is split it into 2 or more different stress-isos (each of it have maximum 4 drawings). It's not good cause the drawing numbering is different and not common.

For example output names of DWG files for pipeline-system named Z03_03 are:
Z03_03.dwg (page 1 of 4)
Z03_03A.dwg (page 2 of 4)
Z03_03B.dwg (page 3 of 4)
Z03_03C.dwg (page 4 of 4)
Z03_031.dwg (page 1 of 2)
Z03_031A.dwg (page 2 of 2)

So you see that there is 6 drawings but numbering it's not common.

And my question is: is it possible to have influence on Isogen split operation to have continuous drawings numeration (for showing example: from 1,2,3.. to 6) ???

Thank you for any answer,

Regards,
JK

You have couple options you can use:
- when you start the generation you have an option to edit PCF files. You can for instance combine all into one and then you will get sheet numbers 1 to nn. There is a limit how much you can combine. Limitation is from ISOGEN. This will also eleiminate the known bug that some of the details that should show are not shown on the drawing.
- When you edit the PCF file you see in the beginning that DRWG number. It is actually the model name plus some additional. You can change this info as you wish using text editor.
- An other option is that you trace the attribute names between CAESAR II edit annotations and ISOGEN. In Project annotation there are 6 fields for you to enter. These relate to attributes in I-Configure. Unfortunately COADE has not published which is which (As far as I know. There is a lot of undocumented features in CAESAR II). By little experimentation you will find the names. Entering info like DRWG number in CAESAR II and using DFAttribute entries you can then have automatic text showing on your drawings in location you specify.
- If you have to split your model in a specific location calculate the model and then using window's explorer (My computer) make copies of the model using different names. Do not use CAESAR II SaveAs. Then open each of the models and delete what you do not need. I have used this extensively and it works very well.
- Look for hidden documentation on CAESAR II installation. Look for help files and PDF files. By reading those you get more info.
