Dear Sir,
I am working on a project which is basically a mirror expansion of the original one. All the materials and specs are same as were used few years back. We did previous project on Caesar ver. 4.5 and now we are using ver. 5.1.
The problem is that the wellhead piping has the material A790 S31803. design minimum temperature is -47 degree celsius. That minimum range was allowed in ver. 4.5 but the latest version 5.1 is not allowing even a -1 degree celsius for this material.
i checked the data base and found hell lot of difference in both (see attached files)
you can see in these files that 5.1 don't even provide expansion coefficient for temperature below than zero. Code B31.3 also tells that this material could be used for temperatures below 0.
Kindly explain.

The values for A790 S31803 were corrected to reflect "real" data from manufacturers. If you can find coefficients of expansion for duplex steels below 60 or 70 degF, please send them to us, and we'll put them in the database.
