Comparing the new version with v2007, I found that v2008 skipped the verification by UG-45, in the meridional direction, calculating it only latitudinally.

As result, a 4" nozzle requires Sch 120 in v2007, against Sch 80 in v2008.

I had not access to the new edition of the code (Sec VIII), is there any chances in this?

Dear Filgueiras,

The required thicknesses used in UG-45 calculation are the maximum of each direction. So, they are not needed to be printed twice in the output for a hillside nozzle.

The area replacement calculation depends upon the opening size, which differs in different planes, hence this calculation is performed in 2 planes.

So, printing it twice, with different values was a flaw, already corrected, that's it?

Something is funny here. Is the input the same between the 2007 and 2008 models. If it so, then send the 2007 file to support -at- coade.com and put it to my attention. I will take a look and let you know.
