Can anyone pls advise me on how to import a line from PDMS to CAESAR? What is the procedure to do it in PDMS and CAESAR?

try to use the search function at the right side and search PDMS. There is also and article in the newsletter. grin

dont bother.
its rubbish and gives you a headache

Intergraph works ok for simple single lines, after you have your IT group spend 3 months ironing out the bugs, and importing/exporting patches etc.

I had an engineer get down on both knees and beg me to let him model the lines from scratch, rather than use the PDMS data.

I couldnt argue with him.

The whole process is a bit like Dating(Courting), after a few pints in yer local pub, it seems a great idea, easy and with guaranteed results, however in reality, you end up in a dark alley covered in puke and wondering where it all went wrong.
