As an idiot I bought a Dell Notebook, which turns out without a Parallel Port. Not to let my boss find it out, I privately purchased a USB Mobile Port Replicator. Trouble is, the computer won't recognize my ESL on the Parallel Port of the USB Port Replicator, even though the printer can work through the ESL. Any suggestion? Thanks.

How about we switch your parallel port ESL for a USB ESL?

Have you tried an USB hub? Yes, those similar to network hubs.

I also have the same problem like Darren had. I would like to switch my parallel port ESL for a USB ESL. How can I make it?

Seow,

This thread is rather old - 2003 - a lot has changed since then.

As of "Fall 2005" all COADE products ship with a USB ESL - parallel port ESLs are no longer available. If your software is current you should have a USB ESL - if not, contact "sales@coade.com".
