In general, most of the joints requiring leakage analysis are of RTJ type. Referring to Newsletter OCT1991(pg.5), says that CAESAR can't predict the flange leakage for RTJ. Means, we can't use CAESAR for RTJ??

I want to know, if there is any other similar method to carry out leakage analysis of RTJ.

thanks,

You write ....

"In general, most of the joints requiring leakage analysis are of RTJ type."

Says who ?

IMHO, properly installed RTJ joints are less prone to leakage than practically any other conventional bolted flange joint.
