Could Caesar II perform longitudional stability analysis of pipeline on sliding supports?

And stability analysis of buried pipeline (against upheaval buckling)?

CAESAR II does not address any form of buckling.

Would you please let me know why CAESAR II does not consider it?
specifically for the buckling due to compressive longitudinal load,

Because CAESAR II uses the 3D Beam Element in a linear elastic analysis. The 3D Beam Element does not address bucking, and buckling is a 2nd order effect not addressed by a linear analysis.
