I am struggling with some strange graphical results:

One element in my model has been built with components x = 900 y = -900 Z = 0 (Z is vertical). However when I look at the graphical results, the model from this element down appears to have slipped down the Z axis and when I place the curser over the element to view the related data on screen I am given co-ordinates x=900, y = 0, Z=-900.

I have tried deleting this section of the model and rebuilding it but I still get the same error. Any ideas?? (Note we are still using C4.40 at this stage). confused

We did have some "trash numerics" showing up in the "info bubble" in early editions of Version 4.40. This should have been cleaned up by the 030403 (April 3, 2003) build. What build are you running?

If you are using the "standard graphics" in the static output processor of Version 4.50, make sure you have the 040120 build. The original edition of Versioon 4.50 did not update the "standard graphcis" to read the new data structures in the output file.

Itchy,

There were many many changes made to the graphics in the 7 months between 4.40_030403 and the release of 4.50. I guess the clean up of this item occurred then.

As long as the "delta dimensions" on the spreadsheet are correct, your model is fine. Don't worry about the text in the bubbles.

I am still getting silly graphics even in version 4.5.

I have tried deleting half my model in version 4.4 and then rebuilding it in version 4.5 but no luck.

1) Make sure you have downloaded the 040120 build, since we addressed a number of issues in this build. (If you were not aware of this build, please use the option off of the "Help" menu to register your software. This is what we use to notify users when new builds are available.)

2) We are almost ready to release the next build, which will be dated 040220. Hopefully we'll get this posted on Monday Feb 23. This build corrected a few tolerance problems, which resulted in "spiking" at elbows.

3) After you obtain the 040220 build (which isn't available at the time of this post), if you still have graphics problems, send me the model and we'll take a look at how the graphics are handling it.
