hi all
i'm a new caesar user & i've got a question about the allowables
in caesar why r the allowables are different for expansion case, sustained case & occasional case?
for the same system
can anybody help me out?

For each piping code, for each load case, there are equations for the "code stress" and the "allowable stress". These are all listed in the Quick Reference Guide.

Actually, Vivek, I strongly recommend that you shut down Caesar and become familiar with what ever piping code is governing your work. The question you ask indicates not simply a newness to Caesar, bot to stress analysis in general.

I'm not trying to put you down, as we all started off knowing nothing laugh . But, Caesar is just a tool. Unless you have an understanding of the applicable code and the engineering fundamentals, punching entries into a program is going to be a waste of time.
