I am trying to check on the thermal expansion of CPVC pipe and would like to see if anyone else has done it so I can confirm my input material values. I started with selecting FRP as my material and altering the information that I could. Has anyone else ever done CPVC pipe and could you share your material properties?

This system is a gravity waste system and the concern is due to some of the system being installed in the summer (90F) and final installation in the winter (20F). How are these cases best inputted?

I am also trying to input a double containment piping system with 316 SS as the carrier pipe and CPVC as the containment pipe. Due to their different expansion properties, we are concerned about interferences. I am doing this by running two separate systems and comparing the output files to check for problems. Is there a better way?

For the material properties do a search on internet.
For your SS / cpvc pipe modeling I suggest you read in the Manuals about the method for modeling the jacketed pipe.
