Hi,
In NEMA SM23 or API 617, what is the effective nominal pipe size of the connection? Does Caesar computes it? Is it generally below the nominal pipe size?
3F+M< 500De
Thanks
Regards

The effective diameter 'De' in accordacne with NEMA SM-23 section 8.4.6 is the nominal pipe diameter up to 8"nb and (16 + nom. dia.)/3 thereafter.
Perhaps you should read the code.
