As we know , when make nozzle checking with WRC107, There has a "pressure thrust" selection, according to a article in COADE Mechanical Engineering News of JULY 2000, I can get some information , but I am not clear when I must select it and when the selection isn't necessary.
today , I did a checking, when I didn't select "pressure thrust", the result is passed.if I select it, Pm+P1 and Pm+P1+q can't be passed.
according the qrticle in COADE Mechanical Engineering News of JULY 2000,
if the piping side is anchor, the "pressure thrust" can be aoided. if the piping side is flexible, the "pressure thrust" must be taken into account.
normally the piping routing is complex and the piping side awlways be connected another equipment, for example exchanger or pump.
Additional, we always install a weight support close the nozzle siade, whethe it has a impact to decide to select the "pressure thrust"?
so I want to whether somebody have more detail explanation for " pressure thrust".
unfortunately , I don't read the WRC107 bulletin and just get some information about WRC107.
