When displaying the temperature profile of a piping system in the 3d plot window, is there any way to change the color Caesar picks to represent each temperature? It becomes confusing when Caesar uses similar colors for different temperatures (eg. red and dark red.)

I know how to change the colors in the normal plot window, but can't seem to find the settings for the 3d plot window.

Admittedly this is a small issue, but still would make my life much easier. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

No you can't change the colors used for displaying the various profiles (temperature, diameters, thicknesses, materials, and pressures) in the 3D graphics.

Currently, (with the build of 030117) the software uses a set of colors that we set to give a good visible difference between them.

Prior to this build, we queried the graphics board for a list of available colors, then sorted them in spectrum order, and then picked the number of colors we needed - trying to space them out evenly in the spectrum. This did result in some cases where colors were too close to differentiate between them.

If you're running Version 4.40, ensure you download the latest build. Anything after Jan 17, 2003 should give a better presentation than prior builds. If you're not running Version 4.40 you are kind of stuck ...
