The last days I got a new PC and had to install CAESAR II - V5.00 including last build (5.00.7-070122). I did it using the installation CD and the last update (the only available one from COADE web side) following COADE recommandation.

After that procedure the CRC check fails. The reason for that situation was the non complete content of updated files.

Follow the 3 installation steps to avoid that problem:
1. install from CD
2. install patch "c2500_061102.exe"
3. install last build

I recommend to everybody having some unexpected CAESAR trouble do the
diagnostic checks to exclude such installation mistakes.
