I have to analyse a piping system where some part is designed by HRSG vendor and they have specified SIF values for their header to branch connections.
My understanding was that the SIF needs to be applied once at every intersection node. However Caesar is giving following warning.
"There is a GEOMETRIC INTERSECTION at node 1080 and there was NO user defined INTERSECTION TYPE. Standard pipe flexibilities and SIF's = 1.0 will be used unless overridden by the user on each element framing into the
intersection."
Does this mean that the SIF value shall be defined on all the three elements framing into the branch.

Thanks
Siv
