Is it possible in CAESAR to apply wind loads to only a few elements in a system ?

I have a piping which runs indoors and outdoors.

Regards,

Setting the shape factor to 0 (zero) for the elements that you don't want wind will do the trick. Where you want wind again change the shape factor back to your design value.

Once wind load is 'switched on' by ticking the box on the input spreadsheet, it applies to succeeding elements ... carried forward ... until it is switched off. It can be applied to a few or all elements in a system. Wind load parameters such as pressure -v- height are set in the load case editor.

Setting the shape factor to zero will turn it off. But also in 5.00 if you activate Wind Load you can select a Radio Button to turn wind Off.
