I'm a Brass Engineer of Chile, working in a emergency slurry mining line. This line begins operate when the rupture disk is breaking for pressure higher than the set point (20777 [kPA]). I don`t know how to model the force reaction to the next elbow, and the reaction for the quantity lineal moment at the instant of rupture disk is open. If I use the F=PA plus DLF=2 the force is very high (65[ton]). The times for dynamic analysis are similar to relief valve? how I can to create a DLF Spectrum of this event. The emergency line has a length of 5 [km]. I tried to look in this forum but the information about this does not respond to my questions.
