Hi Guys!

Currently I am extracting geometrical and property data directly from PDS Intergraph but this process, as far as I observe, consumes more time than creating input model from scratch. Is there anybody who knows how to fully use the data from PDS? My company is interested if it is possible to generate not only the geometry but supports as well. Is there any such program or software available?

Thanks for your help.

I guess you have already asked this to your Intergraph PDS supplier, Am I right? I would recommend.

On the other hand Why do not try Alias technology? Alias web: http://www.aliasltd.com, you can contact them.

Besides this COADE itself offers a bidirectional link between CAD (AutoCAD) and CAESAR II. This software is named CADWorx Pipe 2004.

I hope this helps.

Regards.

You should also read the article titled "Genesis of PDMS to CAESAR II Transfer Tool" in the June 1998 issue of COADE's Mechanical Engineering News. If you don't have a hard copy, you can get it from this web site by clicking here .
