1) Restart Windows.

2) If the problem persists, we need a whole lot more information to determine what is wrong.

  • What exact version and build of C2 are you running?
  • When is the problem encountered, on startup, when you pick an option, etc?
  • Has c2 ever successfully run on this machine before?
  • Is c2 installed locally (on this machine), or on a network drive?

CAESAR II Version 4.50 should run fine under Windows Media Center.

What is the date on the CD you installed from?
Where (what directory) did you install CAESAR II into?
Did you perform the installation or did someone else?

The directory is c:\Caesar

The installation I did and there was no message of error.

The error happens single when I open software, in ocaciones works, in those cases the error appears when beams the bullfight.

Try this:

Right-click on your Windows Desktop and select Properties->Settings->Advanced->Troubleshoot and turn the Hardware Acceleration to NONE and apply this new setting.

Also, you haven't mentioned which build of Caesar II you are running (Help->About Caesar II).

If you go back to the Hardware Acceleration item is it turned to full or to none? If it is still on full you don't have administrative access rights to your computer, which you need to change this setting. Without changing that setting the input might not run. You can try something additional within Caesar II. Select Tools->Configure/Setup->3D Viewer Settings and change the Video Driver to Windows Basic Video and then Exit w/Save. Then try to go to input again. Look on your CD for the version and build information.
