I think you can't export model picture into word nor excel. But, if you need only image, you can use ALT+PrtScr buton, and then go to word, or paint,or photoshop and CTRL+V and you'll get image.

Other way is that you print your model into PDF and then to handle the image.

Folks

If you have AutoCAD installed on your computer, it is possible to get a simple drawing from PV Elite to AutoCAD. Remember, this is NOT a fabrication drawing with all the bells and whistles, it is a simple representation. However, you can edit it normally as an AutoCAD drawing.

Details can be found on page 3-56 of the 2010 PV Elite Documentation which can be accessed by clicking on 'Help' on the menu line.

For those of you who don't know, we have a product called PV Fabricator which prepares a full fabrication drawing from PV Elite. Full details are available on our website: http://www.coade.com/products/pv-fabricator.

Hello Ray,

Thats gret to hear about PVelite fabricator.
I am keen in knowing whether Fabricator generates drawings for Heat exchangers as well.

Hello tahriq

Presently, PV Fabricator does not include heat exchangers. I had a word with the CADWorx section (they are the programmers for PV Fabricator), and they told me the earliest they could start the heat exchanger projuct is September. Hopefully it could be in the the 2011 release, but even that is not certain at the moment.
