I have three questions on PVElite:

1) Why it fails to show full calculation when attached baseplate to legs?
2) Why doesn't it give ASME B16.5 option in lieu of A&B series?
3) Why a standard body flange, otherwise alright for its rating against given pressure, fails in bolting on PV Elite.

I am attaching my file here for your advice and guidance.

I have worked a lot on Compress and couldn't work on PV Elite for the past a few years. I couldnt find how to attach file here, probably option is nomore there.

1. Sometimes when the baseplate is added, the eigensolver doesn't come to a solution. If this happens. Turn of the eigensolver in the configuration.

2. I'm afraid I don't understand this question.

3. If standard ASME B16.5 flanges are calculated according to ASME VIII on their given pressure-temperature rating, they always fail. Do a search on this forum and/or on eng-tips.com and you will find more info about it.
