Not sure I am following you ? I think you might want to look at start / end offset dimensions.

Still not sure if I am getting this, but I would be looking at the start/end offset values in the general tab.

Vanman is right, additionally I then offset my perimeter 1" from EOS of platform to account for 2" wide base of hand rail mount.
