Isogen Error -2 - 07/23/08 09:07 AM

Does anyone know what this error means and how to fix it? We were running fine Monday and now errors out on iso's that were working prior to this error. Help is greatly appreciated.

Personal ISOGEN failed while running ISOGEN module (Code -2)

Not specifically, I just know its a fatal error and CADWorx needs to be closed and restarted before ISOGEN will run without generating another -2 error, even for "known good" runs.

Strange thing is that it is happening on all our computers. We have rebooted and still same error. I wish I knew what was cuasing aor a general idea to try and fix it.

Do you have any Drawing Control or External Data files pathed to your Isogen Project? If so, make sure that these files are indeed located where Isogen is looking for them.

if any any Drawing Control or External Data files pathed to your Isogen Project are open on the network or set to read only will give you the -2 error

Found the error. One of the style folder names got modified and that caused the error. Up and running now after correcting.

First thing to check when getting error -2 is the *.fls file for that particular style. Make sure the actual paths and the paths listed in the *.fls file correspond.
