When running GBOM the long desc. is not coming over. Works fine when we ISOout or batchout.
Have tried a few different things. It seems to just repeat the size. over.
Running 2019 and 2020 neither work

GBOM is an unknown command for my installation. Is this a CADWorx command or one of those addon/productivity modules ?

I am just running the bom export function. total, piping
Crazy thing it works on one catalog but not another. Both are built using long description formats,
long description text is in blue when you cedit components

If you do a CONVERTFROMPRJDATA from these components ? Do you get a better result ?

long description comes in as pipe/fitting size 10 8 6 etc.

Crazy thing is, if I run Total BOM in cadworx 2017 it works fine.
I have all hotfixes installed etc.

Sounds like the problem is with the BOM Setup. Have you configured this ? It changed between 2017 and 2018 if not mistaken.
