fitting spec discription changed, can I update existing item

I have modeled some piping with a spec. Some of the material has changed since then and has been changed in the spec. Is there a way to update the already placed fittings to the new version of the same spec? Or do I have to erase and replace each item?

CONVERTFROMPRJDATA is pretty nice command, use this on conjunction with the change size pipe rule.
