Valve Tag - Defaults Possible?

Is it possible to get the valve tag for a given spec, type, and size to be added at placement?

Make sure your prj spec has the tag you want, then turn on SpecControl in the PID config setup. In PID set the prj, spec, and size; then when you insert the valve the tag will come in.

True, that would be for a size range, depending on how your specs are broken up. If you dont want to break up your valves by size in the spec(not recommended), you can use the index codes. Index codes are based upon size and gives you quite a bit of control over individual items in your specs. Its like adding custom data for each size in a spec.

An update, I did get this working by the setting the "SpecControl" to 2.
