CADWorx P&ID and Vanilla AutoCAD

I was wondering if there are any issues with opening any CADWorx P&IDs in vanilla AutoCAD when our project is over.

Typically at the end of our projects we need to return all design files to the client, would there be any issues returning these files if they don't have CADWorx P&ID? They just use AutoCAD.

Would we need to do a "converttoautocad" command or just simply send the .dwgs?

You can just send the drawings, Autocad will read the objects as blocks with attribtues. The main issue is that if you have made modifications to the PID models without being connected to the Database, its not syncing and creating all sorts of havoc. If at a later stage you are required to make modifications to this project bear this in mind that it would probably require a redraw or similar.
