Component ordering - 08/12/21 02:31 PM

Hi All,

I am trying to adhere to a client standard that wants to have the component numbering follow a specific grouping based on a range of numbers

Items of similar type shall be numerically grouped for itemizing as follows:
-regulators, meters, instruments, filters: 1 to 20
-valves: 21 to 40
-flanges, gaskets, bolts: 41 to 80
-pipe: 81 to 100
-welding fittings: 101 to 120
-miscellaneous fittings: 121 to nnn

So on the ISO and BOM - Pipe would start at 81 not 1

Is this possible? If so what are the steps

Please let me know

Thanks

There is a part mark option in ICEDIT, but I believe such work will be very manual. I guess you could look at custom data also, then have that mapped to the Isogen Material list.

Thanks Vanman. I kind of figured it would be a manual / custom data fix. This has become the least of my worries with this client standard and Isogen.

Thanks Vanman,

I figured it would be manual and / or custom data related. This has become the least of my worries with this client standard and ISOGEN.

BUBBLEWorx has the ability to assign part numbers to components and automatically push that data into the ISOGEN mark field
